Using SitterLeaf

Terms of use

Last updated November 7, 2026 · Launch preview

SitterLeaf helps you organize and communicate information you already know about your pet. You are responsible for reviewing that information and agreeing care arrangements directly with your caregiver.

What the service does

The service provides tools for creating, editing, saving, sharing, and printing care packs, and for recording daily notes. Optional AI editing uses the provider selected in the site’s deployment configuration: DeepSeek by default, or OpenAI after a manual operator change. A request goes only to the selected provider, with no automatic fallback. SitterLeaf has independent email-and-password accounts; an AI provider account is not required. The service is currently a launch preview; availability and features may change.

Owner review is required

Check every generated or edited pack before using it. Keep unknown details marked as unconfirmed until they are resolved. Verify dates, contact details, owner-provided feeding instructions, responsibilities, and any professional care instructions with the appropriate person.

SitterLeaf does not provide veterinary diagnosis, treatment recommendations, medicine doses, nutritional prescriptions, or emergency triage. It does not verify that a caregiver completed a task. For an urgent health concern, contact a veterinarian or emergency animal hospital directly.

Your care arrangements are separate

A care pack is not a sitter booking contract, insurance policy, veterinary treatment authorization, or consent document. Agree fees, dates, access, responsibilities, emergency decisions, and any consent or payment arrangements directly with the people and providers involved.

Your information and shared links

You retain rights in the content you provide. You permit the service and its providers to process that content as needed to perform the actions you request. Provide only information you have the right to use, and obtain permission before including another person’s private contact details.

When you create a share link, anyone holding it can view the entire saved pack and journal, including contacts, home notes, veterinary instructions, and later saved changes. Link holders can add journal entries under a self-entered name; the service does not verify that name. There is currently no field-by-field sharing selection. Review the pack, send the link deliberately, and revoke it when appropriate. Deleting or revoking access cannot remove previously downloaded, copied, or printed material.

Saved account records live in the cloud. Signed-in changes save automatically after a short pause; check the saved status and resolve any save error before leaving. Anonymous drafts are temporary and can be lost when you reload or close the page. A short-lived session handoff carries a draft through a requested sign-in redirect. Discard temporary changes clears unsaved work, not saved cloud packs or separately downloaded files. See the privacy page for details.

Optional AI edits and proposed pricing

Manual care-pack tools are available during the launch preview. The proposed optional credit pack is $9 for 20 AI edits. This is a proposed fixed purchase, not a subscription. Purchases are unavailable until the payment provider is configured and checkout is enabled.

Do not treat an unavailable checkout or an unconfirmed payment as a completed purchase. If checkout becomes available, review the displayed price, credit quantity, payment confirmation, and applicable purchase terms before paying. AI credits are for successful edits, not a promise of veterinary accuracy or any particular care outcome.

Operator contact details, the support process, and final purchase and refund terms must be published before paid sales begin. No paid-service entitlement is created by viewing the proposed pricing.

Responsible use and account access

Do not attempt to access another person’s private packs, abuse the generation service, upload unlawful content, or share information without permission. Keep your password, recovery code, and intended sharing recipients under your control. The current service uses recovery codes rather than password-reset emails; keep your recovery information before you need it.

Availability and copies

Network access and service availability are not guaranteed. Keep a reviewed printed or downloaded copy available for a caregiver who may be offline. A downloaded copy does not automatically reflect later changes. The service should not be your only way to reach emergency contacts.

Operator and support contact

The operator’s name has not yet been published for this launch preview.

A valid operator support email has not yet been published for this launch preview.

You can manage and delete saved packs in the studio. The current launch is intended for evaluating the care-pack workflow; paid checkout remains unavailable until operational details are complete.

Changes and legal rights

These terms will be updated as the service changes. The date above identifies this version. Nothing on this page is intended to exclude rights that applicable law does not allow to be excluded.
