Always free for pet owners

Free pet care tools for owners and their sitters

SitterLeaf gives pet owners a free place to prepare care instructions, send details to a sitter, and see daily photo reports. Your sitter’s form and report links work without an app or account.

Owners do not pay to participate. You can submit a care form and read a shared report as a guest, or create a free account for reusable records and sitter connections.

Before, during and after your pet’s stay

1. Prepare what you know

Create a reusable care pack with feeding instructions, routines, contacts and a packing checklist. Print it or export a JSON copy for your own records.

2. Share with your sitter

Open your sitter’s care-form link and review the details before submitting. If you sign in first, you can reuse a saved pack and optionally connect your pet to your owner home.

3. Keep up with the stay

Open a daily report to see recorded tasks, photos and your sitter’s message. Connected accounts see new reports in their free owner home; other report links can be saved there too.

What is available today?

What should you know before using it?

SitterLeaf records the information people enter; it does not verify care, provide veterinary advice or manage sitter bookings, client payments, payroll or insurance. Discuss care changes and urgent questions directly with the sitter or appropriate professional.

The preview supports up to 100 clients and 250 stays per sitter, up to 60 photos per stay and 30 MB of sitter photo storage. Stays cover 1–30 days. You need an internet connection to load and save care records.

Questions about owner participation

Do pet owners need an account or payment card?

No. An owner can submit a sitter’s one-use care form or read a shared report without an account or payment card. A free account adds saved care packs, saved reports and optional sitter connections.

Does SitterLeaf verify that a task happened?

No. Check-ins are records entered by the sitter, not independent proof of care. An unrecorded task means the owner or sitter should confirm what happened before repeating care.

Can I install SitterLeaf as a mobile app?

Yes, compatible browsers can install the web app on a home screen. On iPhone or iPad, open the secure website in Safari and use Share, then Add to Home Screen. On Android or desktop, use the browser’s Install app option. The app requires internet access for care records; separate app-store downloads are not available yet.

Are forms and reports private?

Owner forms use unguessable one-use links that expire after seven days. Reports use unguessable links that expire after 30 days and can be revoked. Anyone holding a valid link can access the associated form or report, so send links only to intended recipients. Private records are excluded from search indexing.

What happens when an owner connects their account?

An owner can sign in before submitting a care form and explicitly connect the pet to their free owner home. They can update reusable details for future stays and see reports created after the connection. Access is granted through the invitation, never by matching an unverified email address.
