From first handover to the next booking

1. Collect a client’s care details

Create a client, then send the private owner form yourself. Owners enter routines, contacts and instructions. The form closes after one successful submission.

2. Reuse the profile for the next stay

Choose dates and the care time zone. A new stay copies the client’s current instructions, so previous check-ins and reports remain separate.

3. Record the day and share a report

Record tasks, add notes and upload photos. Preview the selected day’s report, create a 30-day link, and send it to the owner. You can revoke the link later.

What is available today?

What should you know before using it?

SitterLeaf records the information people enter; it does not verify care, provide veterinary advice or manage sitter bookings, client payments, payroll or insurance. Discuss care changes and urgent questions directly with the sitter or appropriate professional.

The preview supports up to 100 clients and 250 stays per sitter, up to 60 photos per stay and 30 MB of sitter photo storage. Stays cover 1–30 days. You need an internet connection to load and save care records.

Questions about the sitter workspace

How do reusable client profiles work?

A sitter creates a client and sends a care-form link. The owner’s submitted profile can be used to create another stay without retyping it. Each stay keeps its own copy of the instructions; later profile changes apply only to new stays.

What appears in a daily pet care report?

A report includes the pet’s name, the sitter’s name, the selected care date, daily task labels and recorded completion, check-in notes, photos, captions and the sitter’s message. Contact, home-access and medical instruction fields are not automatically included. Review notes and images before sharing.

How do notifications and reminders work?

The sitter workspace shows owner submissions, profile updates and tasks with no completion recorded after their scheduled time. Reminders use the stay’s time zone. Optional browser alerts require permission and an open workspace page. Closed-app background push, SMS and automatic email reminders are not available.

How much does the sitter workspace cost?

The planned standard price after your free month is US$6/month. Billing is not enabled and no automatic charges will be made. Pet owners participate free.

Are forms and reports private?

Owner forms use unguessable one-use links that expire after seven days. Reports use unguessable links that expire after 30 days and can be revoked. Anyone holding a valid link can access the associated form or report, so send links only to intended recipients. Private records are excluded from search indexing.
